This policy explains what happens to personal data in connection with the Azure Blob Browser plugin (the “Software”), published by sellerkit.
The Software runs entirely inside your IDE, on your machine. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no “phone home” of any kind. We do not receive your source code, your Azure data, your usage, or your IP address from it.
The Software calls the Azure Blob Storage REST API directly from your machine, using the storage account name and access key you enter. Nothing is routed through any server of ours. What Microsoft does with those requests is governed by your own agreement with Microsoft.
The account address and the options you pick are saved in your IDE’s project settings. The key is stored in your IDE’s password safe (the same place the IDE keeps your other passwords) on your own computer, so it is not written into project files that might be committed to version control. Both stay on your machine and are never sent to us. You can remove them at any time by clearing the fields.
The Software is sold through JetBrains Marketplace. Payment, invoicing, and licence issuing are handled by JetBrains s.r.o. as the seller of record — we never see your card details. Licence validity is checked against JetBrains’ licensing service, not ours.
As the vendor, we receive from JetBrains the sales records they make available to vendors, which may include the licensee name, contact email, country, and the purchase details. We use them only to fulfil the sale, meet tax and accounting obligations, and answer support requests. See JetBrains’ privacy policy for what they collect.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to resolve the matter and to meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete it.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to the address below and we will answer.
If this policy changes, the new version appears at this address with a new effective date.
