Wix lets developers put their own app on sale and shows a badge for it. On the day measured one app in six carried one. A "sale" badge on this market is closer to a standing state than to an event, which is worth knowing before treating a discounted price as a real one.

On 2026-09-08 we listed all 6 categories and 56 subcategories from the App Market's own sidebar and read the state each category page embeds, which carries every app on that page with its review count and average rating, its company, its pricing label, its free trial length and its badges. 62 category pages returned 1,517 distinct apps.
