Pricetrail is a Shopify app that edits product prices in bulk. This page states what it touches, what it keeps, and for how long.

What we read

With the read_products permission we read, for each product variant: its id, title, SKU, price, and compare-at price. We also read your store’s currency, domain, and product count — the product count decides which plan applies.

What we write

With the write_products permission we change only two fields: price and compare-at price, and only on the variants you selected in the preview.

What we store

We store a record of the fields we changed, so that we can undo them. Each record holds: your store domain, the variant id, which field was changed, the value before, the value after, the product title, and the time. That is all.

We also store the fact that your store installed the app, and the permissions granted.

What we do not store

• No customer data. We never request or receive it.
• No order, cart, or checkout data.
• No payment or card data. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify.
• No access tokens. The token used to reach your store is exchanged fresh for each request and is never written to our database.

Where it is kept

On Cloudflare D1, Cloudflare’s managed database, in the Asia-Pacific region. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

Change records stay until one of these happens:

• You undo the change — the record is removed once it is applied.
• You press Forget on a record in the app.
• You uninstall the app — every record for your store is deleted.
• Your store is closed and Shopify sends us a redaction request — same result.

Requests about customer data

Shopify may forward requests to view or erase a customer’s personal data. We hold no customer personal data, so there is nothing to return and nothing to erase. We answer these requests to confirm that.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data. There is no analytics service, no advertising network, and no third-party tracker in the app. The only parties involved are Shopify (your store) and Cloudflare (our hosting).
